Got a PhD? Stamp

So, do you have a Ph.D?

Hehe! I learned the other meaning of "Ph.D" from an excellent person I know. He's Francis Kong. I don't know much about him, but whenever I see his name written somewhere I imagined King Kong (yeah, that mighty gorilla -but Mr. Francis is far from that, of course ); I saw pictures of him already, not yet in person though. I saw his name first in a book (he was the author of it) and somewhere in a newspaper (as the writer of an inspiring article). And if I'm not mistaken, he's also a motivational speaker and a financial analyst (not sure though). I saw him once on tv where he was holding a seminar, and that's where I got this quote. Since then, I started to like him. He's really humorous, a man of wisdom, full of life experience and has so many inspiring stories to share - that's how I see him. An intellectual person like me couldn't help but to admire this kind of man...

Seeing him how successful he is now, even me couldn't believe that he had actually difficulties too during his high school life. Usually, we often think that a successful people now were always a good students before. Wrong. Sometimes, those who had difficulties in schools end up more successful than others. Fortunately, I didn't earn "PhD" as I was a smart student in my class. (I wasn't allowed to fail or else I'd end up in dumpsite) I'm good at memorization so I always got the highest scores in almost every exams in every subjects. On the other hand, I was terrible when it comes to recitation. I hate it every time my teachers or classmates would call my name to stand up to answer their questions. I couldn't formulate in my head the answers they want to hear, so I always ended up smiling, blushing and scratching my head.

What is Ph.D?
A PhD is an academic degree, typically the highest that can be earned in any university. Originally, the degree was awarded to advanced scholars in philosophy, and the degree’s letters still pay tribute to that background — PhD stands for “Doctor of Philosophy.” The degree is awarded in most areas of study, however. It is sometimes also referred to as a doctorate, and graduates are typically styled “Dr.”
